How to Drive Traffic to Your Website to Make Money Working Online - Link Building Strategies

You can't make money working online if you don't have any traffic coming to your blog or website. Traffic is the lifeblood of any successful internet marketing business. There are many ways to generate traffic but one that is often overlooked by many is through link building. This type of traffic generation can result in massive amounts of visitors to your site consistently. This article will discuss several link building techniques that you can use.
1. Always use original content on your site or blog. Your content is what makes up your site. Strive to keep original content of good quality on your site at all times. If your site contains the same old stuff as all the others then what sets it apart? Why would someone use your site when they have so many others to choose from? Make it stand out with fresh,original, quality content. This will keep your visitors coming back.
2. Use article directories to publish your articles on a constant basis. You should be writing and submitting at a minimum three articles per week (more if you have the time). Fresh articles delivered to the directories will keep your site's name in front of the readers and help more and more people find your site. Most directories also allow reprints of the articles posted there so other site owner's may take your stuff and post it on their site, further enhancing your exposure.
3. Start using directory submission to make money working online. There are thousands of web directory listings out there. Search for ones that are relevant to your site and are high ranking. Submit your URL to as many of these as you can. This will help your site gain recognition with the search engines and with targeted traffic.
4. Use press releases. Many people shy away from this because it takes a different writing style but it can be beneficial in driving more traffic to your site. A press release is simply news about your product launch or what your site offers. Press releases can help get your information in front of people that may not have seen it through other methods.
5. Use sites relevant to yours to gain links. Approach other sites that are relevant to yours and ask them if they will link to your site. These sites should be of a higher page rank which will help with your ranking in Google. This may take some time and you may have to approach several sites but it will be worth it in the end.
6. Use blogs to your advantage. Blog owners are always looking for fresh content to add to their sites. Content various blog owners and ask if you can submit some articles for their use. This is good because blogs are searched frequently by the search engines because their content is updated so frequently. If you find a blog with a large following you can instantly increase your exposure and traffic to your own site.
